traditional ways to order high quality printed scores and parts at the lowest prices possible. We can also accept payments through PayPal.

Guildhian Music can also offer special rates or music on loan or rental for special concerts, events and festivals.

Email delivery of study scores for consideration for performance, at no charge:

Simply send us an Email Study Score Request
Please specify the title(s) you wish to consider for performance. We will send you, via email, the scores in
pdf format which you may study on screen, or you may print for study use only.
By your request, you agree to the following:

1. You will not distribute copies for any reason to anyone not directly associated with consideration for a decision to
   perform the music in public; and
   
   
2. You will not perform the music in public using the study score, nor extract parts or otherwise copy the music from the
   study score for performance by any method; and
   
   
3. All originals and copies created from the study scores, physical and electronic, will be destroyed after a period
   of 30 days.

Email delivery of performance materials:

Please include your name, physical address and telephone number, and we will bill you at the online delivery price.
By your order, you agree to the following:

1. You may print one copy of all performance materials plus one additional score.
   
   
2. You will not make additional copies, physical or electronic, for distribution for any reason, without written
   permission from Guildhian Music.
   
   
3. You will notify Guildhian Music of any public performance of the music, including a program if available, in advance if possible.
   All public performances of music by James Scott Balentine are licensed through ASCAP.
   Performances for religious services and in public schools for teaching purposes are generally exempt. University
   and College recitals and concerts are subject to licensing requirements.
   
   
4. NOTE: If you order for electronic delivery and later would like printed copies, we will apply any payments made for electronic delivery
   as payment toward print copies of the same music.

Ordering printed music:

You may either send us an Email Order specifying the title(s) and quantities of music you would like to order, or
download and print this Order Form and mail it to the address on the form.
You may also complete it on your computer and send it as an email attachment. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this form.

You may include a check, money order, or school Purchase Order with the order, or we will bill you for the order.
Please include an email address when ordering by mail, in case we need to ask for additional information.

and purchase requirements.

Commissioning Music

If you are interested in commissioning a new work by James Scott Balentine, there are a number of funding possibilities.
Grants and matching funds are available from organizations such as Meet the Composer (here is their Guide to Commissioning Music),
city and state cultural affairs offices, and local, regional, national and international arts organizations.
Guildhian Music also offers limited support in matching funds to individual performers and ensembles.
